YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy, with
a little clarity.
Here’s how the recipe tools use your browser, where links take you, and how to ask a question about your information.
SAVED IN YOUR BROWSER
Your favorites
stay close to home.
Saved recipes use browser storage to keep a list of recipe links on the device and browser you’re using. They aren’t an account, and they don’t sync across devices. The save tool doesn’t use your IP address to recognize you.
Remove individual favorites by tapping their filled heart or save button again. Your browser’s site-data controls can clear the collection too. Clearing data, using private browsing, or blocking storage may prevent favorites from being kept.
The 30-day challenge also saves your checked prompts in this browser on this device. Its Reset my checkmarks control clears that progress after you confirm. It does not create a membership or subscribe you to emails.
The grocery checklist and meal builder work on the page. Choosing ingredients does not submit a grocery order or subscribe you to a list. The Copy grocery list button writes the selected list to your clipboard when you choose it.

Contact and email signup: website forms save the name, email, message, interests, and email preference you provide in Veginner Cooking’s private contact database. They also record the source page and form placement, the referring website’s hostname, and any campaign tags included in the page link. Browsing does not sign you up. Joining the recipe list requests future email updates; it is separate from asking a recipe question or registering for a class. Contact Cheryl to request a correction or removal.
Welcome gifts: enter your email on a guide page to get an immediate PDF download link. The download link works for seven days. The recipe-email checkbox is required for current free guides. No checkout or payment is needed.
Gift invitations: your browser remembers a dismissed gift invitation for seven days, and limits it to one appearance per session. This is a local preference, not an account or cross-device tracking.
Quiz and challenge access: enter your email before viewing quiz results or using the challenge. Quiz answers stay on the page. After signup, an essential access cookie remembers quiz or challenge access for up to one year in this browser. It contains no email address. Clearing cookies or using another browser requires signing up again. Challenge progress remains separate browser storage.
Social and community: Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp links take you to those services. Their own privacy settings and policies apply. Review the WhatsApp group details before joining.
Music, media, and fonts: the homepage includes a Bandcamp player. Some images are served by Wix, and fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to those providers to load that content. Hosting and provider services may process technical request information under their own policies.
Live cooking: the update form records your interest in hearing about future classes. Recipe emails are a separate choice. WhatsApp updates are available through the VIP invitation.
Shopping: the current digital guides are free PDFs, delivered here after an email request. Guide requests include an explicit recipe-email signup. Merchandise links open the Printful shop, where Printful handles checkout, shipping and support. Brand offers and Amazon links open external stores, and some are affiliate links. Their own policies apply. Check purchase, shipping and return information before placing an order.
