Cherry Chocolate Protein Smoothie Recipe
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 large glass (or 2 small)
Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen cherries (and/or berries)
1 frozen banana
2 tablespoons of almond butter
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
1 serving of vegan chocolate protein powder
A handful of ice cubes
1 piece of dairy-free chocolate (optional topping)
Instructions:
In a high-powered blender, combine the frozen fruit, almond butter, and fresh ginger. This is the blender I love to use.
Add in the plant milk and vegan chocolate protein powder. Throw in the ice cubes last.
Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick for your blender, feel free to add a bit more plant milk until it reaches your preferred consistency.
Pour into a glass and dip a piece of chocolate into your smoothie, highly recommended ;)
