These taste better than any packaged bars I've tried! And they're so easy to make:)

Chewy Cinnamon Apple Bars Recipe 🍎


Serving Size: 1 bar (makes about 12 bars)

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 25-30 minutes

Total Time: 40-45 minutes


Ingredients:



Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a square baking dish (9 in. x 9 in.) with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. In my robot chef or a food chopper, add 8 oz of diced apples and chop. If not using my robot chef transfer to stove & sauté apples for 10min with 1 oz of vegan butter. Add remaining vegan butter, pure maple syrup, peanut butter, raisins, cranberries, coconut sugar, spelt flour, sunflower seeds, chopped pecans, vanilla bean, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then cook for 4min.

  3. Add rolled oats & rice cereal and mix until combined. Transfer mixture into prepared baking dish and press firmly and evenly. Bake for approx. 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. Let cool for 10min, and then cut into 8-10 bars. Leftover bars should be stored in a glass container in the fridge and can be served cold or warm. Enjoy your apple bars!
